I agree. Check out the very first austin city limits. He has some damn fine guitar work throughout that show. All available on you tube. I was obsessed with this show over the past december - february

I'll 3rd that. Again not known to be a great guitarest but 1 damn good songwriter and performer.Mark Knoffler for sure but what did he play?I do know he has a fantastic and very expensive collection of mainly vintage Strats.
